It's not negative at all, it's putting to bed people's fears and highlighting the fixtures of those below us. A lot has changed in a week in terms of injuries, I think we will probably finish 14th to be honest.
This thread is so negative
You were talking about 5th place last week?
I actually endured Braintree v Telford for the full 96 minutes last night. If Altrincham had put in a performance as detached and inept as Braintree's we'd be calling for the manager's head on a plate. I wonder if Telford's Gray is out of contract at the end of the season. He appears to know how to take a penalty.

I applaud you.
I switched off after Telford's second goal. It was a dreadful game and, as you said, Braintree were shocking.
To be fair to both Braintree and Telford the match was just as good as us v welling

Do you mean just as mediocre ?
reminded me of skipper a little .. On entering any away ground... I'm the skipper ! Oh this ground is sh*te alty !To be fair to both Braintree and Telford the match was just as good as us v welling

Is that a synonym of "sh*te"? Our game against Welling was abysmal.
We have to lose all our games, both Welling and Nuneaton have to win all of theirs.

We lose all our games and either Nuneaton or Welling win all there games (and in Nuneaton's case overturn goal difference) - Still mathematically possible to be relegated - but realistically the chances of this happening is nil

Nuneaton pretty much gone now: http://www.nuneaton-news.co.uk/BREAKING-NEWS-Nuneaton-Town-deducted-points/story-26295279-detail/story.html
Hope Hullablue is enjoying it, the condescending prat.
Southport could struggle to get another point out of that lot.
Like to see welling stay up and they have the best fixtures
If welling beat alfreton Saturday they are all but safe as they have a better goal diffrence than alfreton And that result would also probably keep southport upa draw will do Welling, Alfreton finish at Bristol
Looking up, at the bottom of L2, tonight's results mean that Trannie Rovers will be odds on to go down now. I'd say they'd need at least 7/9 to stay up. Given their last 2 are Plymouth away (currently holding onto the last play off spot) and Bury at home (still in with a shout of automatic) then they need snookers. Some huge local pay days for us in that away end next season.
Had a look at the Barrow forum, planning travel to their final game, away at... Lowestoft Town. 650 mile round trip.

I'm not sure they're that doomed. They're only 2 pts behind Hartlepool with a much better goal difference. I'd be interested to see if they went down if they played on Friday nights again. Would be a huge advantage against some teams in this league.
Southport would kick themselves if they missed out on a match v Tranmere. I don't think they will though as it would require Alfreton to take 4 pts ie draw at Bristol Rovers.

I think playing on a Friday night versus part time sides should be banned. I know it is the same as a Tuesday, it is just the way I feel!
I reckon Southport will just about get over the line. Alfreton to go down.Alfreton would need to beat Welling and get at least a point at Bristol for Southport to go down
