Altrincham FC First Team / Re: If I hear any one say...

I thought Senior looked very hungry, lively and committed. Yes, its his first game and keen to impress etc but there is definitely something there and useful. I think  mainly because of his height and stlye too that he needs to play off someone, and would've therefore played O'neill in the centre with him, although to be fair Col was a bit quiet and well shackled yesterday. Also think he could be very useful on the break, need to practise the quick switch play without getting caught offside. I think he'll prove to be a good acquisition.

Woking away is always crap, even if its my nearest game. Last season apart thanks to the cameraderie it is a dead place, and we rarely do well. Two wins I recall since about 1992? Including Gallagher's when Dennis still complained when he scored cos he was out of position!!

So he's scored one goal in 17 games looking at those stats? Seems an odd choice then unless he's a certain type of player ie someone to play off, hold the ball up, but surely that's what O'Neill does?

All the best Bernard, hope you're back to full fitness soon.

The safety at sports grounds act forbids drinking alcohol in view of the pitch. Any temporary bar would therefore have to be outside.

I don't get to as many games giving where I live etc but when I've seen Col play his experience and movement shine through. His ability is second to none and is often the difference between our side and the others.

Leroy May, from the midlands somewhere. I believe he moved on because he couldn't drive and the travelling was an issue?

I went to a St Albans game at the end of last season with a couple of mates, and found myself standing next to former Weymouth chairman Ian Ridley. He commented on future meltdown as they apparantly had several players on contract on wages which could prove to be well above the conference wage cap levels. This appears to be substantiated by recent events.

You are Saughall, best wishes you will win if you want to. Its not that addictive, it tastes sh*t and you only enjoy one out of every 10 or so?

Massive dilemma for me, obviously need Macc to lose heavily , however my Chelsea supporting cu*t of a brother in law is going for his only cheapo day of the season, so basically need somehow both teams to lose 10-0! Don't get me going on him. I'd need my own seperate message board.

Such issues, How will my weekend not be spoiled!
