Heathcote - Most honourable man in football - BBC 5 live

Graham Heathcote has been nominated as one of the most honourable men in football on 5 live ( 0720 Hours Thurs ). This was because  he  has undertaken  just about every job at the club during his career. Did you phone 5 live with this nomination ? Good nomination if that was you but quite an interesting point for debate.

I'd left the house by then, but was thinking of a few Alty people who could have this honour - it seemed mostly based on loyalty to a specific club: Col, Talbs, MadDog, Scotty, Stu, Geoff G all appear honourable (in their time): other suggestions?

What about Jackie Swindells?
When he was sent off for the only time in his career at Great Harwood, The opposition Manager and Chairman went to the FA hearing to plead on his behalf! (He got off too!)
