I hope this isn't true.

From a very reliable source who has never let me down in the past....Graham Heathcote had a row with Geoff Goodwin on Friday. Graham said that the club did not need him and could function without him so he resigned. So I don't get sued straight away these are allegations at this stage and it may be an idea if the club could refute this or substantiate this sequence of events.

The club aren't going to reply to every post on here that makes claims like that.

From my knowledge of the last few days, every bit of that rumour is false.

If your source thinks that Graham Heathcote would say "ho hum you don't need me any more so I'll just toddle off now and resign" then he hasn't been around the club very long.

Having spoken to a few people that are 'in the know' at the club this has not been mentioned.

You seem a little confused Markecky. The allegation is not that GH said 'you don't need me any more' and resigned.

Very confused...apologies for being a bit thick but you'll have to tell it to me again.

Scottie, i think i need to re read your original post because that's what it says. I think you might have made a slight typo. Also whatever has actually happened, if you've been told something in confidence perhaps it's best not to go announcing it to the world. Particularly if you're not entirely sure if things are true or not. Alledgedly or otherwise.

What a pointless post. It doesn't matter what was said, it's time to move on.

I've heard bits and bobs but too be honest I don't care cos for the first time in a long time I feel optimistic about Altrincham FC and going to enjoy going to a match on Saturday. Yes I always enjoy going Alty but sometimes it felt more like a chore and cos "you had to \ always had" whereas now I am looking forward to it ...

The banter and seeing people was coming before football, and now I feel like watching a match is part of the day again :)

This thread is like a broken pencil...................pointless.

Like the club needs to 'refute said allegations' in your pathetic gossip tittle tattle post you pompous prick.

Reminds me of a Paddington ruler I used to have the quote: "Paddington didn't think much of decimals, he couldn't see the point!"

I think it was a clear case of mutual consent with both parties in agreement

Whether it's true or not it doesn't matter now, we are where we are. Lots of stuff goes on behind closed doors that we don't hear about or perhaps snippets get out and get magnified. Its time to move onwards and hopefully upwards.
