Watmore is definately a candidate, have there been quicker?
-
Ian Morris was the quickest I saw
-
The legendary Danny McGoona, surely...?
Wasn't he a talented sprinter during his teens?
I seem to recollect that Phil Derbyshire was pretty nifty, too.
-
Tie for me between Ian Morris and Phil Darbyshire - Ian Morris played here a couple of seasons ago, he has not lost too much of his pace over the years - amazing. He was part of the team that played with John Hughes up front and was one of the first players I singled out at Altrincham, when I watched them against Buxton - 06th Oct 74 - Thanks cult of Ian Tunnicliffe!!
-
Barry Howard?
-
Off the ball, Andy Windsor.

maybe worth seeing if he wants to come back for a final season ?
-
think chris senior is working as a masseur so his tips will be more than we can offer him , no happy ending in this story
-
McGoona for me. That ginger lad, I forget his name now was pretty rapid too ;)
-
surprised no-one has put forward Paul Showler....
-
Soner Zumrutel
-
I remember Ellison being lightning fast, but I was young and everyone looked fast to me. :)
-
Twiss was pretty spritely... always first to the pies ;)
-

Mark Hughes was very fast
-
Jason Gallagher was supposed to be described as fastest in training sprints as well as being bloody rubbish by dennis....
-
Mark Hughes was very fast
Physically...but not mentally, by all accounts.
Nicknamed 'Cabbage', as I recall.

That's really made me laugh Cult!
His nickname was "empty head" so your point is valid!
-
Ben Hatton was nicknamed "dime bar" he's had the last laugh though with him being a multimillionaire before he hit his 30s
-
Not an express train but more like a freight train that you couldn't stop once it got going - Derek Halliwell.
-
Ian Morris, Ron Smith, Barry Howard
