I can assure you that the weather in the West of Ireland is a lot worse.
In the summer of 1976 there was a drought in the UK and water pumps needed in Manchester City Centre.
I live in Mayo at that time and it pissed down every single day.

I am in Surrey now and we have a foot of snow at the moment - all Schools were closed in Surrey today. Freezing temperature are predicted for tonight.
So good luck for the match going ahead in Alty tomorrow night and more importantly 3 points. Ther is a big container of grit at the end of my road if you need it!!!!
Even in the days when we were top of the Alliance/Conference those spiteful, vindictive, jealous green b****** had the hiorrible habbit of beating us at Moss Lane.

We could do with a webcam setup in the Main Stand  8)

Could also be used for evidence against gypos going about their business!

Yeah, west of Ireland weather is more extreme. Actually, last time snow stuck here on the East Coast was 12 years ago (NYE), but nothing like this.

Anyway, the weather here is rather irrelevant when it comes to the events of tomorrow night against the auld enemy. I fear though that the thaw will not be enough. The forecast is not great and my money is on another postponement. Hope I'm wrong.

Sleeting at the minute and the snow is getting a little mushy!

Hope yet?

I know the club have a water sucking device! Does it work on snow?

Just peeked through the gates, the colour off the grass is showing through and appears to be currently thawing.

Drizzling aswell.  :)

Fingers crossed.

Won't the Vics manager and several members of his squad be trapped in snowbound Sussex though?

Tough sh*t! They'll have to play the old squad that they haven't bothered paying for the last two months if the new squad is stranded down south.
