That we have a team capable of playing some fantastic football who can hold there nerve under immense pressure and have bags of passion

If we can replicate this week in week out we are a play off team if we can't we are mid table

Sunday was one of the best games I have seen in a very very long time

For me again he was the difference between victory and defeat (alongside another stunning double save from Coburn)

What a servant He has been for the club long may it continue.

Altrincham FC First Team / I wanted to say a massive thanks
« on: February 28, 2008, 09:29:51 PM »
Im not sure if this has already been put up. Sorry if it has.

I wanted to say a massive thanks to every one involved at Alty over the last few years to get the club to the position it now finds itself.

In with a great fighting chance of once again staying up; a stable footballing enviorment; investment finally happening around the ground and on top of that recording a 70K profit.

There must be so many clubs who would love to be in our position at this moment. It takes not only a lot of heart to want to be involved at a football club but to run it so succesfully in terms of buisness accum takes so much more.

Long live the mighty Alty

Altrincham FC First Team / Altrincham councill
« on: January 09, 2008, 08:28:57 AM »
I was horrified to see last night on my journey home last night to see the councill removing the Xmas lights.

Did they not hear that the mighty Alty had just won 2 1 ???

They should have invited Graham to turn them back on for another week.

Stunning new town centre my arse

Altrincham FC First Team / I write this sober...
« on: December 26, 2007, 05:12:28 PM »
Today for me and im guessing for most die hards was simply not good enough.

I hate losing but i hate it more against a team bottom of the division and of course it being Northwich.

For me we showed poor distribution again time after time and at times a lack of passion and Heart(vital in any game never mind a derby match)

I can only hope we go someway to redeem our sorry selves and get all 3 points on NYD any thing less is a festive disaster.

Altrincham FC First Team / Tescos will open
« on: November 09, 2007, 12:43:06 PM »
Laughable

ALTRINCHAM'S Tesco Extra store has confirmed it will be monitoring security on Saturday - but will be opening as normal.

The move comes as Altrincham FC prepare to take on MIllwall, in the most high profile game at Moss Lane in recent years.

A spokesman or Tesco said: "We will monitor the situation and ensure we have adequate security, but we are opening as normal."

Lets hope the pubs do the same and let us get on with it..
