Through the years ...
« on: September 21, 2009, 05:23:53 PM »

Was reading the 'through the years' thing by Howard Watt. Just a bit of nostalgia, but the Mossley away game was the first one I went to after my 16th birthday (21 Aug) . Didn't think it was over a month after and then noticed it was headed as 22 August rather than 22 September. Has he made a blooper or is my memory playing tricks? (It tends to when you get to my age)  ;)

PS: Although it was only 2 buses to get there from my then house in North Manchester, I set off 3 hours before kick off and only just made the start!

PPS: Seem to remember it was a Monday night?

PPPS: I reserve the right to be totally incorrect in all the above statements  :D

I think you are right - most of the games listed are in the first three games of the season so not end of September!

It's been changed, so I must have been right. Good to know I've still got a few marbles left!  :)
