Pottsywatch ...

From the Fleetwood Chairman on their website ...

"The new signings are settling in but it does take a little time.  Tuesday was the first time I’ve seen Kevin Leadbetter start a game. Mark Peers has caught my eye.  Adam Warlow has some good touches and we know what he is about.  Farrell Kilbane and Simon Garner both had good games against Blackpool. Colin Potts has stuck out as the most impressive so far.  He had a great game on Saturday and also at Freckleton. He’s someone who can look after himself and I’m sure he will be a real asset over the season. Colin has got real quality, can deliver a good ball and he can certainly get stuck in."

Never in any doubt that his distribution was brilliant. To the point that I have never seen such a good crosser of the ball at Alty...
Problem being the fitness levels required to play in the Conference National.

Good luck to him is what I say.

Indeed Good luck Pottsy...what we wouldn't have given for a fit Pottsy the last 2 seasons?

Not only a great player, a really nice bloke very easy to chat to....always a legend for being part of the play off winning side which was one of the most exciting Alty teams to watch for many a year.

Incidentally this forum is sooooo slow....Warrington out.

First we hear pms are going astray, now this....this forum is in recession with a weak and innefectual dithering management!!!!

Only joking Gaz and fellow moderators....keep up the brilliant work.

Some good players at Fleetwood these days.

Just shows how good pottsy is when he's the most impressive of that group. Pottsy deserves a good run this season and id love to see him back in the BSP one day.

Pottsy was class and was never given a chance in his second spell. Must have been very frustrating watching from the bench when he was miles better than most of the dross that was out on the pitch.
