Just comparing last year's league table to the current one, some interesting stuff comes up.
Last year there were also runaway leaders and two lots of whipping boys. However, last year Droylsden and Stafford were so poor that everyone's points total was given an out-of-the-ordinary boost, meaning that totals in the top half are likely to be slightly lower this year than last. Anyway...
Going by last year's figures we need:-
- Three more points to be safe
- Twenty-eight to finish top half
- Forty-one to be in the playoffs
Since the last two are more likely to be about twenty-four and thirty-seven respectively, where do we all think we'll finish this year? Personally I think 24 points out of a possible 48 is possible, Alty in the top half!
PS. Not complex and time consuming at all eh?
