1-1 now and under pressure

Down to 10 men (Richman off)

Pity. Was looking forward to an undeserved 1-0 away win.

Fair result. Strange game. Both teams had chances and we could have won it but for a great save.

Easy to be annoyed at Richman but he just tries so hard.

Debatable if reeves goal was off according to people in line.

The defence dealt with that lump so well.

They were a decent side. A good point in my book.

Hall and Havern were massive today. Foz and I were pretty well in line with the offside goal and were astounded when it was chalked off. Watmore terrorised them when he came on. Could have won it, but definitely a point gained. Nobody will relish going there this season.

Two decent footballing teams and a hard earned point. I really enjoyed the game and I reckon both sides are in with a good shout of reaching the playoffs. Glass half full, especially after going down to ten men.

pleased with the point -  predicted the score draw.  fair result.  Havern was excellent from what I heard on the Radio Robins commentary.

A good point gained.  They bossed the first half and we scored. We bossed the second and they scored. Go figure.  At 1-0 Richman missed a one on one with their keeper and the bloke next to me said it could be the turning point, and so it proved cos 2 minutes later he was off and we were up against it.  My first game today - well impressed with Rodgers and Whatmore when he came on - we'll do well to hang on to him long term.

Back now so can post a bit more detail without my battery failing.

A decent game today.  Both sides played some good stuff.  They were a decent side, the new left winger they had from Watford was excellent but Dens had one of his best games at right back to try and handle him.

Seppleton is such a handful but we dealt with him really well I thought.

They had a lot of pressure in the first half but we were dealing with it and restricting them to long shots.

Its the first time I realised that maybe I don't need to panic and predict a goal every time the opposition attack.  Hall and Havern worked hard, in fact every player did.

Felt a bit sorry for Simon Richman.  His quick free kick to set Lawrie away for the goal was superb and he got stuck into everything.  His bookings were silly but for fouls where he was chasing hard, rather than daft dissent or something.  He'll be gutted about that sitter he missed as well.

Don't think Reeves was offside (and he certainly doesn't!).  Watmore was a handful when he came on as well.

Overall the result was a bit odd.  We could have easily won 2-0 but they will feel they should have won as well I bet.

Overall a draw was a fair result, they will beat  fair few sides there this season.  Good appreciation of the fans at the final whistle was well which was nice.

Onwards to Leek...

How did Ashley Mowers play today?

Great engine, very sharp.  But he'll never get anywhere at Alty unless he keeps off the grass.
