Smashing signing, be good if it ended up being for the rest of the season. Two decent upgrades who know what this league is all about this week.

Welcome to Alty, Connor. Score just some of the chances you'll get from your new team mates and we'll love you forever!

First time I saw him he scored a hat trick against us. Hope he hasn't lost his touch.

Good signing...…...fell down the pecking order at Stockport, but should be quality outside of FL

Be real intent to take both on FT in January, or keep them till May

Reading between the lines on the county forum, seems both have contracts only until the end of this season and, if Stockport can bring in forward reinforcements in January, they'll be happy to let them go.
I'm looking at the short term loans as sort of test runs. If they do well for us then they could well be signed up permanently.

PS. Only my assumptions but I hope I'm right.

I think you're spot on with that, moves to us would suit both parties if they perform on loan. That said, I am sure that Jennings will not come cheap, and could maybe skew our wage structure somewhat if he joined permanently. They're both good signings on the face of it and I'm excited to see how they get on tonight, you'd imagine both go straight into our XI.

Here's hoping we get sick to death of him banging in goals with monotonous regularity. Do we really want a 25 goals a season striker. Are we used to that sort of thing? What if there's nothing wrong with him and we can't complain? I'm going off the idea.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys but CJ as it stands is nowhere near the level of a average NL striker never mind a good one.

We play with two up front and loaning him out leaves us with two fit strikers. At the weekend we rested those two and picked a winger and an attacking midfielder up top rather than Jennings and he’s been that bad that nobody thought that was an odd decision.

I hope he can get his mojo after everything he’s been through but I think it’s more likely that at the end of his month that he’ll be on your bench and you won’t extend.

Thanks for the honest input, I'll admit I'd heard the same thing myself given County are my 'newer' local team and I know plenty of ST holders.

I'm more hopeful for Newby who just needs to be playing week in, week out at his age - which he will get here. I appreciate his end product has been criticised, but Dan Mooney's could be absolutely dreadful at times and he didn't end up doing too bad for himself.
