If you get off at Oxenholme on the main line it is five minutes by taxi (half an hour walk) but the station is out of town.

If you get off at Kendal (you might have to change at Oxenholme) the station is at the opposite end of town to the ground.  However, you can walk it in 20/25 minutes, or longer if you want to stop off at a few places on the way.

See the map from the main site; 23rd Oct. This will help.  Move the map north for Kendal station, and south for Oxenholme.

I don't think there is a bad pub in Kendal!

For anyone coming into Kendal early - The Globe (in the market place) are the match sponsors for tomorrows game. It is a friendly pub with seating outside for anyone wanting to people watch or smoke. There is a Betfred bookmakers 20 yards away managed by 2 diehard Kendal Town fans. Nearer kick off the Cock & Dolphin is a popular haunt of supporters from both home and away. Anyone wanting a pre-match drink and banter leave details and be in touch.
cheers
