Get in.
Sounded like Pringle made a difference.
Glad PP is brave enough to sub Jake when we need to attack. Kirby and Pringle will have more energy over the pitch.

Not sure if Jake is injured or whether time is just catching up with him.

He half limped out of a challenge  not long before coming off.
Probably (hopefully) nothing too serious  but happen safer not to risk him

Hanks not even on the bench
Blisters apparently will be OK for next week.

The subs made all the difference. Ben Pringle must start every game - a class above everyone else. The Kirby/Pringle partnership is a winning one.
Dover had a few nifty forwards and are certainly much better than people think.

Well, we certainly made hard work of it, but a vastly improved performance from Monday and ultimately a deserved three points.

Glad to see Mooney proving some of his doubters wrong - I hope he can stay fully fit this season, because we look nicely balanced with him and Colclough on either side.

Senior played much better and looked really dangerous combining with Colclough down that left hand side. I thought Brad Jackson did well too.

Matty Kosylo probably looked the most off colour, but probably to be expected given he's still building up his match fitness.

I agree the Pringle-Kirby axis works quite well, when Pringle came on we started moving the ball around just that little bit quicker. I thought all the substitutes made a decent impact, Leitch-Smith took his goal well and Peers made a nuisance of himself late on.

Two winnable-looking games coming up.

Could be worth trying Pringle at No10 next week if the likes of Kosylo / Hancock aren't quite ready...?

Unfortunately time will catch Jake up .
We need Kirby's stamina and energy but we also need pedigree to make things happen ( like Smith brought to us ) so I think we need to consider the Kirby / Pringle partnership.

It's a difficult one this for PP. Jake is his captain and Alty through and through, but the energy and movement coming from Kirby and Pringle would be a match for any of the midfield duos in our league.
Also, there's the very highly regarded Dean Furman still to come in!
Forgot to mention, I thought the new pitch was awesome and almost certainly improved the quality of the football for spectators.

When chasing games I agree, otherwise Pringle doesnt do enough without the ball.

Hence my prior suggestion, PPM - Moult is better defensively but it's not like Pringle is afraid to stick his foot in either, won the ball back quite a few times.

Great to be back, really enjoyed the game & what a player Pringle is. A few teething problems with ques etc and wobbly tech but just happy to be there.

The chap next to me said he'd got to the ground at 1pm and couldn't get in until two (his plan was to have lunch in the ground), was he doing something wrong or just to keen ?
