I decided to combine this game with a few days at my mum's who now lives in Hartford. Thinking I could get a direct train from Greenbank to Stockport if now that's not possible does anyone have any ideas how to get there? Can I go from Hartford via Crewe?

Terrible news to wake up to. I went to school with Peter but really knew him through Alty. I remember many occasions and incidents, most of which should go with him rather than be retold here. I remember some great days going away full of laughs and the occasional bit of scary stuff. Rest in Peace big fella, keep an eye on Alty and I hope the fishing is good up there. Goodbye Looie.

Strange people in Kings Lynn  they make nearby Boston folk look civilised. North Norfolk however is gorgeous, maswivel empty beaches and great pubs. A nailed on weekender.

It's actually not that bad. My friend hit me in the face with a squash racket and split my eyelid.

Once's it's patched up it's fine, and it heals quite quickly. If you pinch your eyelid you'll notice it's not very painful.

Ah many thanks for the info! And for providing the winner of the 20017/18 most middle class post of the year 😀
Just on my way to A&E after pinching my eyelid with a peg. Am I able to sue?

Raining heavily here in Hartford. Forecast to dry up about 11am. Big game tonight surely a better crowd than sub 600. Wish I could go but can't, anniversary of my dad's passing so will need to be with my mum. Good luck and come on Alty.

We travelled today as we had advance tickets which were not refundable. Cracking day on the beers around Kelham Island in Sheffield. Well worth the trip. Great beers and really friendly people.
