Altrincham FC First Team / Re: I thought the ref cost us...

From where I was stood, it was'nt so much the ref that cost us as the linesman, he missed Elam returning from an offside position to recieve the ball and the put a cross into the box that lead to the "supposed challenge".

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: League Two

Most clubs in League Two are in a mess financially. Bury were desperate for Dave Nugent to make his England debut last week to earn £25K. On gates of around 2000 and less, income goes nowhere near covering outgoings.

Just looked at NLP and:

Tuesday: ALTY V CAMBRIDGE, DAGENHAM v STAFFORD, SOUTHPORT v OXFORD,TAMWORTH v ALDERSHOT, EXETER v GRAYS.   -  chances there of gaining 3 points on 'em all.

Saturday: WEYMOUTH v ALTY,ST.ALBANS v SOUTHPORT , STAFFORD v TAMWORTH. - that elusive away win will take Alty well clear.

Well, here's hoping that's the case.

Tuesday is vital now, 1 of 5 vital matches against clubs in the Dogfight.

I believe 48 pts should do it, which means 4 wins and 4 draws. Most likely winnable games ,without stating the obvious ,are at home to Stafford, Cambridge , Grays and possibly Aldershot, but to stay up, possible victories could be gained at St. Albans and Weymouth. Gonna make for an interesting 10 weeks or so.
