Thought he played ok to be honest, though I think someone should have hit their no.7. Thought Goodall's positional play was superb but can someone tell him that Rooney/beckham/sylvestre balls won't do much in this league

What? I respect people's opinion but you are joking.  If his positional play was superb??? Then why so many glancing headers, a couple leading to corners. Plus his so called Rooney, Beckham etc balls, you mean just a sand wedge chip up top without any cut or pace on the ball???? I can do them with my eyes closed.
