all this fixture talk with gateshead on a wet tuesday night ( it wil lbe)
has me recalling going to gateshead on a tuesday night with 300 in that massive ground and then wembley on the weds england v Denamrk with 92,000 including a huge Danish support with a massive atmosphere. had Noelwhites tickets five away from the royal box and sat  next to Howard kendall. we didnt speak much but i did get to piss next to steve cram ( 'alright steve?) ... nice cock pete was his reply honest

Has to be one of the most depressing places I have ever visited. Alty v Gateshead used to be a regular fixture during 70's and 80's. A long way to go on any day of the week and one we will be missing this year.
