If he doesnt play a full 90 minutes tomorrow you would have to wonder why. (unless he gets injured during the match obviously).

It is the perfect chance for squad players to get fit but also for first teamers to gel together.

Haven't read all the posts but Hughesy has got it pretty much spot on. I still play Lane over Battersby. Its so hard with Johnson and Senior, obviously Johnso has the height and strength but Senior is a constant threat and would score a lot more goals. Lets go at Stevenage, they were sh*te last year so doesn't matter that we are away, lets attack them with two wingers Elam and Denham.

On what basis? Battersby was brilliant at Eastbourne and solid against Histon and Salisbury, all much to my surprise. I don't see how we could drop him at the moment.

Got to agree with Alty365 on this one. Battersby has done very well since coming into the side and it would be very harsh to drop him.

Lee Elam, if not carrying a knock, should have come on on Saturday. They were there for the taking and we failed to put on any pressure towards the end.
