do we not still have the wheelchair dugout ? with pitch side viewing

A bit conspicuous that! I remember when I worked at the Safeway in Chester and I left work a bit early, picked up a wheelbound friend and went to Moss Lane. Now, what are the chances of someone in the crowd that day being a friend of my line manager in Chester?

I got an almighty arse kicking the next day!

since i retired from the golf road i keep getting moved every 10 years or so . bring back the paddock in front of the stand for those of us who were displaced, onto the flags . or maybe its the circle of life and i should join the golfroad again !!!

Goodness me, I'd forgotten about that standing area in front of the stand. I watched my first game from there after being recruited at school to sell programmes before the Notts County cup match.

One Alty regular in that paddock area at the front of the main stand for many years was the late (legendary) Bill Brocklehurst.

Yes, Bill was always exempted from the no standing on the yellow box area.  Good footage of the Gazelle v Chester in that paddock if I remember rightly after Freemans winner!

Good news  ,flaggers will have to go in the golf road or pop side ?

We might have to move when the building is being built
But we will be back :) :)

Since my return, the "patio" area has become my regular spot.

Once the flags are lifted and they've removed lord Lucan, Shergar, flight MH370, the development fund totaliser and any detritus, work can commence

No, the scheme involves a new set of terracing with a roof for the flaggers  ;)

I'm just being facetious Ian, from what I can remember at the time they just piled sand, rubble  and the remainder of the soil from the grass banking under it 😋

the paddock was a very funny place to watch from in the last few years of its existance . most humour caused by kingy ranting and raving from the dug out . i wish i could remember some of the quotes .
