This is one BIG game.
Let's hope for a good following👍😀
-
I'll be there with a few London mates that I've managed to drag along.
Last time I checked, Trainline were doing day returns plus tube travel for £40 - no excuse not to make a day of it :)
-
7 I know of going on the train Saturday morning, meeting in a pub in Charing Cross at 12
-
It's as big as any FA cup game this, if you can get there then do
-
I'm going. :)
-
I am planning on going by Jam Jar and bring my lads with me.
-
Five of us attending, the first full house from our bunch for a while.

Ok the pub of two halves but if you don't know The Harp it is across the Strand and down a side road from Charing X, one of the best real ale ranges in London.

We are exploring the local micro pub circuit. Obviously everyone knows about the Door Hinge but there's a few more locally to check out, the Broken Drum about a mile from the ground in Blackfen is one such gaff.
To note that the cutting edge local Spoons that burnt down in August re-opened yesterday so that's a cheap local option too. The Greene King pub on the high street should have on City-Leicester too for those inclined, the Nags Head.
See you all down there, think we'll be having good numbers.
-
Broken Drum on our list for afters.
-
Ill be there and hoping to persuade a couple of others to come along as well.
-
I'll be in the Doric Arch near Euston watching the first half of the City game.
-
I wouldn't bother it's gone right down hill, the beers been sh*t on my last two visits, use the Euston tap or bree Louise instead. Nearly ten quid for two pints of sh*te on my last visit and the C**t was reluctant to change it, the second batch was no better
-
I will be going , hope we can fill the coach👍😀

Was that to me, Figgy? Do the other ones show the sport? Must admit the Doric Arch is quite dear, even for central London
-
Think there's TVs in the bree Louise and possibly upstairs at Euston Tap but not 100% on that
-
Not sure there is in the Euston tap
-
Your probably right jimmy, was sure if there wasn't one on the wall upstairs
-
Euston Flyer or The Mables Tavern on the other side of Euston Road also options

It's just started raining here in Alty and the weather forecast for the weekend is terrible.
I just hope it doesn't turn into another Leamington farce with a late postponement after everyone has travelled down there.
Good luck to all those brave soles making the trip.
I'm thinking Bolton v Rotherham or Six Nations myself for tomorrow afternoon followed by Dad's Army ?
Don't Panic Captain Mainwaring and Don't Tell 'Em Your Name Pike !

The weather is dry here and has been most of the week. There is some rain forecast overnight, but I don't see it causing a postponement.
Good luck to all those brave soles making the trip.
I don't see what shoes have got to do with it. :)
-
BBC weather forecast suggests a little overnight rain with some more in the morning but a dry, cloudy afternoon. At least this year I travel down with the prospect of seeing us actually play - after last year's late re-arrangement I ended up at Dulwich Hamlet (where there was incidentally decent beer to be had) ...
-
Get ya self's down there lots of options to get to the ground set of early that's the key
3 points well spent

On the weather, I would say it is 'DON'T PANIC'!!
Could be a good game at Bolton. They need another win.
-
The main problem tomorrow is the wind which is forecast to be gusting around 50mph at kick off time.
-
I live about 8 miles from Welling. Fine rain and drizzle on and off all day, certainly nothing to be concerned about. The main issue is the strong, biting wind. Could have an impact on proceedings I suspect.
