I never understand how that gets policed at this level, as if old Ernie the meeter and greeter at Brackley will say "sorry john, your not going in the dressing room or anywhere near your players today, not on my watch"

My son has been asking to go on a road trip (as he calls it), and I was thinking about next Saturday's game. To those who have been, what's it like? It will be a small crowd obviously.

In realith he'll be all of a metre from where he'd normally park himself during the game.

Far more meaningful, at this and other levels, would be a stadium ban.  That removes the manager from contacting players for a certain number of hours before the game.

EightiesRobin - it's a tidy little ground, and the photo above is probably the smartest bit of the whole place. Seem to recall from my one visit that it was set in an almost idyllic location. Think there was a cricket match going on in the background.

There will no doubt be a large Alty contingent there so you won't be alone.
