Having said that, we were all expecting this weren't we? As has been said elsewhere, if we keep the rest of the squad we've got the basis of a very good team indeed.
Another centre back, a creative midfielder and another striker, and I'd have high hopes for another satisfying season of consolidation in midtable waiting for the cup run payday that will change our fortunes for the very much better.
I've every faith in the management team to unearth the right additions and refuse to let a couple of departures like Chris and Greg (however much I wanted them to stay) spoil my two weeks in Greece ... starting this weekend!
