Still dont understand why he doesnt play crouch. his goals to game ratio is awesome for england. Defoe is sh*t by the way.

They were playing against a team probably of a lower standard Alty - part timers except that Andorra didnt play with any strikers
Ireland were good picking up 3 away points

Post by: Butty on September 06, 2008, 09:23:55 PM: Lacked ambition and desire, Rooney worked hard, Defoe was almost anonymous, Terry went over the top far to much, all to no avail, and Engalnd overcrowded themselves regurlarly. The only flawless player on the pitch was David James. Enough said.

Well, Warren seems to have put in a couple of decent performances of late

Warren can't play left wing for England; he has a left foot. ;D

Totally agree, Crouch is quality.

Until they give the captaincy to John Terry and its his own personal fault when croatia scored 2 goals. But if Ferdinand was captain it would never have happened... ::)
