Title: NEXT FEW GAMES
Post by: mortlakebob on October 22, 2007, 12:06:48 AM
i probably shouldnt be starting all this again,
but anyone else thinking the same thing - critical period again for GH

kendal away in cup - surely this time we can win in the fa cup, shudder to think what it means if we go out.
histon away - need something
LEEDS AWAY IN THE CUP!
weymouth home - again, not the hardest home game but you still wouldnt put money on us

JURY OUT TILL WEYMOUTH GAME, SORRY!

To be honest leeds away would be good for the club. ie massive payday, but we would all possible get the crap beaten out of us.
Macc at home should produce a 3.5-4 k attendance. A good home draw, with TV money AKA darlington, would be the best.

Still we have to overcome Kendal first. Just how many times have we slipped up in the cup?

A big club away would be a brilliant day out but it would be best to get easy games in the next few rounds then get a big club in the 3rd or 4th round. Cup fever would bring valuable publicity and increased attendances.

IF- and this is still an if, we do win against kendal, then i would prefer in the next round either:
a really easy team at home
a big team (dont mind where) to promote the club

but most of all, i would give almost anything for a match against a premiership club at home in the 3rd round, hopefully a team who are ona  run of bad form and are likely to lose ;D

I don't think we can draw ourselves.
