I expected a trouncing when I saw no Coburn. Clee and Reeves.

With no disrespect to Reid (who played well) I thought we'd lose 5-1.

We played really really well, passed it well and showed great movement.

The boy Redshaw was outstanding...both finishes were class.

Lees has to start at left back on Saturday.

We now know Lawton and Brown are much happier and better playing midfield. Well done Jack! He had a great game

It sounds like the lads played well and that Lee Sinnott juggled about with a few positional changes - Can only be a good thing.

Well done lads - Onwards and Upwards

Does this mean we are back on track to P!ss this tin pot league.
Seriously it sounds good is redshaw likely to replace twiss or is he a different type of player.
The gazelle back to being India Alty and has no radio robins coverage as it is banned over here i suspect brian Flynn of being some sort of pakistani terrorist or a naxalite

Yes,Jack Redshaw did look good and took both his goals really well but lets not get carried away just yet, remember this was a friendly match and the United players were not putting tackles in,the sort of which he will have to contend with in our league games every week.I am not taking anything away from the lads performance yesterday because even on the United website it states of Jack being impressive.

Summerskill isn't good enough - he was better yesterday but still way below the standard needed (even for a squad player)

His passes put the other players underpressdure as they were poor.

And he just looks like he's lost in CM as he's too lightweight - and don't say oh it's his size/build Bevause redshaw shrugged offto two or three defenders and came out with the ball.

I don't know how much we're paying him but it's probs worth getting in another lower league player (with the passion and eagerness redshaw had yesterday)

On a positive note, I thought Joe Combs did excellent yesterday, ESP that last ditch tackle/block

I Thought Reid was lucky at times but did ok for his first start, decent kick and throw on him

And the link up play between Richman twiss and Redshaw was excellent - they all seemed to be on the same wavelength.

Hope the game was recorded by Alty as the two goals were great finishes

Oh and an excellent defensive display first half by the lads - When we lost it we had 9 meh behind the ball and looks extremely difficult to break down

Just do this in league games!

Hope you're not thinking of trying to get a takeaway in the near future then! ;)
