Free, but you will be asked to make a donation.

This does not appease me after the dreadful cup exits at the hands of Witton and FCUM. >:( >:( >:(

The board are damned if they do and damned if they don't sometimes. I fully understand why people are pissed off, they rightly feel let down by our limp performances in the cup competitions and poor away form. However, the board have tried to make a small gesture to try and show their appreciation for the consistent loyal support from the fans which in my eyes is a good thing, an olive branch if you will. Nobody is saying that a free coach automatically rights all the wrongs but it's still a nice thing to do.

What he says.

It's not meant to make everything wonderful but it's a nice gesture.

And the asking for a donation is from TASC I think  not the directors as its a way to claw back some of the deficit from this season.

Not through a particular lack of support just the fact that organising local coach travel is fifty times harder than long distance travel.  Coach companies have minimum charges and in order to cover costs we'd sometimes have to charge £11 - £12 to games that can be reached on trams and buses for £3 - £4.

I'll be on it and paying what I was going to pay knowing that my cash will hopefully allow TASC to keep the service going a bit longer.

A word of caution though for the younger lads.  I hope you come on and use it but please don't book all your mates on who have a ropey record of turning up for stuff.  Lets use it to get a few down there and keep up our decent away support and hopefully get at least a point and start rebuilding some confidence.

So you were going to go but because the Chairman has offered to help out with the cost you're now not going.  What exactly could he have done to cheer you up and encourage you to go?

An age old question that Cult, Flynny and co muse on every week in relation to VoD  :D ;D
