Next Season

Should be a cracker for us.

On the one hand Vics are probably down, which is a shame, but Wrexham have failed to go back up, and who can forget the fine crowd they brought early in the season (plues the 'easy' 4 points they gave us :) )

In addition, Chester should also be a cracking game, plus AFC Wimbledon, a team for whom I have a great deal of sympathy and can't wait to see at Moss Lane. The old Wimbledon were an inspiration to every non-league club till they went bad, and AFCW hopefully will do it again (although not at our expense!)

With the bigish crowds that these games should draw plus hopefully we'll get at least 1 televised game next season, maybe the finances won't be as bad as everybody fears?

Yes looking forward to Luton, AFC Wimbledon and the derbies with Chester (assuming they definitely are down?!), lots to get excited about.

I'd love to see us retain some of the talent that ensured safety this year (finances allowing) and see the lads continue to play with the passion and heart shown in the last few games.

Bring on next season, I'll be bored out of my mind over the Summer.

Bad news though that we will more than likely be heading to Tamworth again, a win at home to Hinckley tomorrow will see them up  :(. Hope Southport win the play offs, and God bear the thought of having to go back to Alfreton!!!!

Oh well, bring on the battle for 13th position tomorrow  ;D

Personally, a trip to the Bower Fold is always enjoyable for me. Nice ground, even better real ales.
