You finishing above us enjoy it because it wont last. As for the worst professional team in the Country I believe Stockport Sports are full time.

Well played tonight the only difference in the first half you didn't take your chances and we did, regarding the penalty miss I thought it was well saved, also very good support you would have thought we was at your ground good luck in reaching the play offs.

Just back now.  Some observations.

1. Over two legs in the play offs, we would win, based on tonight.
2. Their nos 5 and 6 were excellent.
3. Their seven should have got a red at the fight, went in with his head and swung punches.
4.  I thought it was a very good pen save.

First half Guiseley were unnecessarily physical, the ref failed to clamp down.  Once we'd lost Watmore and Richman for the second half they were less physical, but they didn't need to be as we'd lost a lot of our attacking on the ground.

Had a chat with a few of the locals before the game, perfectly pleasant...but not many of them.  459 I think was the gate and we had 100 plus, excellent support from Alty, as per usual.

Slightly disappointed we didn't end up with all three points on the balance of chances and yet another bloody penalty miss. But would have took a point at kickoff, if we beat Hinckley and droylsden and draw with either BS or BPA then Harrogate will need to win 4 of their last 6 games to overhaul us. And at full tilt I'm confident we could do Guiseley over 2 legs. Kevin Holsgrove will be suspended for both playoff semi finals.
