I never thought id say this but ... I have to agree that Mr Brodie wouldn't be a bad pick in our current position.
My God did I just write that  ;)

Judging by the Woking game, I don't think we should look further than Jon Margetts rather than Brodie or anyone else for that matter.
Are all the 4 loan players all full time that may not want to turn to the part time game?

All the loanees are full time footballers. Ginnelly and Henry are both with us from league clubs to gain 1st team experience so it's highly unlikely they'll ever be more than loan players. Margetts and Holness on the other hand while being full time are struggling to get into an average Tranmere side at our level and may consider turning part time if their loan moves work out.

Ginnellys valued at £6 million, it would be very nice if he did decide to stay, not sure Burnley would be too pleased  ;D

Richard Brodie, free agent, released by aldershot wants to return northern, now I know what people are going to say, but they said that about KP who's become a bit of a cult legend, worth a punt in my opinion
Arguments for Brodie - proven goalscorer, upsets opposition
Arguments against Brodie - would in all probability demand a higher wage than we could afford or would wish to pay, wouldn't necessarily fit in with our current formation, we have plenty of forward players at the moment particularly as the manager says Reeves is fit but just not getting selected at present
Personal prejudice - I would rather we didn't employ a cheat (but I know we have done in the past - no names, no pack drill)
Leaving that aside I still think the cons outweigh the pros.

In my opinion, Brodie isn't the player he was.
When I see him play, he reminds me of Tom Daly!!!!!
