Colin Little will score quite a few at that level.
Title: Arsed

Arsed. Seriously. Pub league. Good for Col getting a bit of dough chillin out on a Saturday afternoon. Fair play to FC for having him, they'll do whatever they do, Northwich might panic but overall it's a complete irrelevance.

You sure? If positions stay as they are we'll be playing them next season.

Yep, no problem. We won't be playing them next season.

Colin Little will have a field day against keepers and defences like that.  If he can have 2-3 seconds to think about what he s going to do, he'll slot it every time.

How many of that team have played for Alty? Carlos Rocca, Richard Battersby, Colin Litte.....

About Carlos Rocca, he seems like a good player now and I would like to see him in an Alty shirt again

Seems a good player because of the league he is playing in IMO

Definitely, he's not good enough for us.

Apparently Adam Carden is widely regarded as FCUM's best ever player. Don't get me wrong, he looked okay for us, but hardly likely to set the world alight.

I know it shouldn't bother me but it seeing Col play for another non league team makes me a little gutted.

Remind me why Col can play part-time for FCUM but not part time for us?

IIRC it was Col's decision. Presumably he wanted to go out on a high with Alty rather than not train, end up unfit and fizzle out as a bench warmer.

Because I believe he does not train and would think the fitness required at our level requires a high level of fitness perhaps?

Ok ta. Understand, he'll be keeping fit with his work with the Man U under-5's.

I also suspect that there would have been issues with the time required to travel to away fixtures with us

Also (and I know I'm risking it a bit here) time was catching up with Col a bit so best to go as a hero rather than a zero

Yeah, definitely. It wasn't so much that his ability dropped off, more that he seemed to be picking up injury after injury. The BSP is a physically demanding league, very tough on a man heading towards 40. The Evostik allows him to drift around, using vision and awareness far superior to that of anyone else on the pitch, without getting hustled/closed down immediately as would be the case with us.

I'm pleased he seems to be doing well for them, he deserves a good final season in football.
