I've also been given the nod about a good pub in Hayes although it would mean a cab to the pub and one to the ground (one to the ground is required anyway).

On the other had I emailed the club today and their bar is open to away fans, doors open at 12pm.

The chap also stated that they normally show the football (early KO match?) and the game will not be sgregated, which is nice.

Myself,Ecky,Tom and Brads will aim to be in Hayes social for 12ish. We're staying in Feltham on Friday night and going to Kempton Park races so it'd be pointless to divert back to central London.

Boyne baby brads and myself shouldn't be far off 12 at the club, unless an enticing boozer appears on route.

Fairly sure you won't find too many enticing boozers in Hayes unfortunately. Central London or The Fox, Hanwell if en route by train a better option.
Requires a break of journey though and allow time for a 10 min walk EW

This is the one recommended to me by a local resident.

The Brook House

1.8 miles from the ground.

OK if you drink lager, fizz, creamflow etc but no proper beer. All depends on an individuals priorities.

I suppose for most the important thing is get as near to the ground as possible, get bearings, then get a beer. Fair enough really.

Ah, I didn't get as far as a write up! I wouldn't hold your hopes up for CAMRA action at the ground mind!

I'm sure we'll sort something out.

Another option, a Spoons with all they come with, but fairly between ground and H&H station.
