it was unsegregated so quite hard to tell, but it was about 100 give or take 10.

Probabaly about right. I thought it was quite an odd move not to segregate it with a crowd of nearly 2000 against one of your most local rivals.

I disagree. It was very hard to notice all the Alty fans around the ground with it not being segregated but we had more than those behind the goal. We actually had a fair turnout for a Tuesday night in the middle of nowhere.

Its more than we took last year and people are away on holiday this week.

People finances are getting tighter.  After a family holiday last week, I was unable to get the money to go and I went last year.

As a percentage of our hardcore home support, our away support is excellent.

There may have been 100, there may have not been. I was one of them and I witnessed a great game of football, saw 3 brilliantly taken goals 2 of which were scored by new signings (great new signings may I add), watched GH make 2 quality and brave substitutions, watched Heffernan grow up in front of my eyes, saw Denham try and con the ref, saw top  drawer saves from SC and watched 11 men gel into what looks like a very good side - and Densmore kept Logan quiet (ish).

TOP NIGHT HAD BY ALL ...............!!!!!!!!!

Well done lads .... and GH and Kenny .....!!

At the end of the day, as much as we all love Alty, people have responsibilities such as work and bills to pay.

If this game had been on a Saturday we'd have probably had a few more there but, all things considered, we don't do badly.
