Okay mate, I think I misunderstood you. I agree, we know nothing about Hayes & Yeading. To be honest I'll be reasonably happy with 2/3 points from these next two games.

Macca leaving and Welchy being injured means we're still just finding our feet, especially in the back four. Hopefully by the second half of the season, with a settled squad, we'll be going into away games against teams in the bottom half feeling confident of a win.

1-2 to the Alty.

Why not be positive in these balmy early days of the season where anything seems possible. There's plenty of time for mundane realities later.

I do think we should be very careful of falling into the realms of "we really should be winning games like this" though lest the black kettles come home to roost.

There's 2 ways to look at this....

1. If that midget Walker plays he'll score against us.
2. If he doesn't then he obviously won't.

If he plays, then we'll lose.

I reckon we should sacrifice Doughty in the 1st minute (straight red and Walker stretchered off), play 'em with 10 men each and then my prediction is 1 - 0 to Alty.

11 v 11, we lose 3 - 0.

This may be viewed as unsporting but who gives a t*ss, three points would be lovely !!! ;)

Hayes & Yeading is not a 'must-win game' just like all 46 games we played last season were not must-win games. That was the delight of last season that we managed to get to 40-odd games played without a threat of relegation. No must-wins. To say there are must win games when there is still 149 points to play for is absurd.

Lewes was a turning point, just winning games is not enough at this level you have to play with authority. Up to and including Lewes we never did. I dont see why its so hard to imagine that the fans reaction would not have had an impact? We often hear players saying how good it was to have the fans behind them and how much it makes a difference when theyve played well, surely theres a flip-side when we play crap.

WE WILL GET SOMETHING TONIGHT!!!! BE POSITIVE!!

nice score lads alty boys come on 2nd in the table with a three nil win over barrow. lets keep going an alty should here a word call promotion yes PROMOTION is it alty year i hope so .what do you think lads i no it is early days put this is the greatest start for alty for a long time.
