Euro Lottery - how much would you give Alty?
« on: May 08, 2009, 12:49:10 PM »

If I win the Euro Lottery tonight and get £110m I will donate to the club £1,000,000 in return for directorship.

Cant say fairer than that  ;D ;D

Anyone else honestly say they would better this offer if they won it? I am sure there would be some.

The trickiest bit would be not letting the Mrs find out.

£5M to sort the ground out with new terracing/seats etc as has been discussed before on here half a million a year for 20 years to helkp run the team/club. This fixed amount would depraciate in real terms over the year but allow the club to grow itself to become self-sustaining at a higher level.

In exchange I would want lifetime season tickets for myself and Mrs S for centre line pop side (and that F**king gantry sorted out!)

Would £110 million be enough to cover Daryl Clare's wages for a season though....?

Saughall,

And unlimited supplies of red wine both before the match and at half-time, surely?

i would give a max of £5m based on a £ for £ basis.  So for every quid earnt elsewhere I'd give another.

Of the rest a huge amount would be given to www.ibcuk.net - together we can beat cancer & £100m would be a huge boost.

Sorry folks, but footy isn't a matter of life 'n death.

Cancer is.

and here endeth the lesson...

No sh*t, that's the last time I'll ever bother to have a bit of fun or day dream about football on this forum.

In effect most of it would buy the club and spend my days running it, wouldnt go mad but would cover wages / running costs for the forseable future. also been thinking this for days

I think I could afford the vino, Cult - I might even buy you a few pints yourself (You're not having my programmes though!)  :D
