I thought he was much younger than that. Decent striker - I wonder if he'll turn up playing part time somewhere?

According to the main site he's going to be a bodyguard in Iraq!

One of the most bizarre things I've ever heard.

NW NEWS
"Macclesfield striker Simon Yeo has decided to quit the professional game to take up a bodyguarding role in Iraq. The former soldier played 250 times for five sides" reports Bullsnews.

In fairness I know he was a soldier and all but surely he could pick up a bit of money in non league, I can only assume he's injured or really is past it.

A bodyguard in Iraq?? Yeh, been going nice and quietly that kind of work out there hasn't it?

He will get a fortune for that job. More in a month than he would get in non league foobtall in a year I expect.

It's how many are underneath the top dollar that I'd be worried about.
