I hope the football team are as much fun as Barnton's cricket tea,.

I once got fined playing for Bowdon against them for a catch I had taken (for the after game beer, of course!)

They said it was a very good catch and they didn't begrudge such a good catch...It was just that when I caught it my team mates gasped and said, "Oh my God, he actually caught it!"

I also scored with a girl from their club...during a 2nd XI game!

Can we have details on the bombshell last sentence please!

Well, we started off in the score box in the corner of the ground, but it was far too hot so we scored on the grass in front of it so we could still change the numbers!

Was it 69/2?
