If they put some sturdy foundations in then maybe one day we could put an upper level on for executive seating?

Excellent and exciting plans, the new community facility looks excellent inside and out, that coupled with a club shop and ticket office with access from the road and a huge bar 32 sq m in size. A lot bigger building than I expected, apparently bigger than the function rooms in the Cresta court and probably the biggest conference venue capacity wise in south Manchester.  also the plans for under the main stand will bring the club in line with some of the best in the lower leagues. And turning the old bar into a museum and potentially another sponsors lounge is a great idea. Also seeing the very old club shop in the away end become a snack bar and new facilities for the away end being built is good to see.

32m2? Got to be bigger than that Dennis, that's a small double garage?

Is it going to be a brick affair or a metal type look?

If planning permission is granted and the rest of the money after the grant is raised when is work likely to start and finish ?

I thought it was an excellent presentation and the people involved have put a lot of thought and hard work into the plans. There is a long way to go but I firmly believe it can happen.

In my opinion, its important that we remember this is a community project first and foremost, which the club can benefit from.  This is vital from a public support and funding point of view.

Ian Watmore mentioned a tentative starting point of January 2014 with a view to opening the facility 12 months later.
