the hand shake all round before a game is a load of hypcoritical PR crap from the doo gooder dinosaurs at FA headquarters who preach respect then disprespect the players and clubs by telling them at various appeals where tv evidence is overwhelming to f**k off the ref didn't see it or f**k off the ref saw it, put it in his report and that's that.

The FA are now sounding as stupid and racist themselves as Sepp Blatter with his keep racism, sleeping with your team mate's girlfriend and bribing FIFA with cash for world cup votes within 90mins and then shake hands as it's all in the game.....if players hate the sight of each other let them wind each other up in the tunnel beforehand....kick sh*t out of each other on the pitch and start a mass brawl toward the tunnel at the end.....

lets get to brass tacks here, here is the FA's respect campaign clashing violenty with the kick racism out of football campaign....and they don't know which way to turn when the fans just want to see a decent game of football not a load of loony lefty ooh i feel good with this latest let's all love each other campaign....

and wtf is john barnes problem and when did he become nelson mandella??????

Irish player called Jimmy Dunne who had his own ideas of nationalism and kept sceaming "Remember 1916". By kick off the Germans were totally confused. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
