Not seen the highlights yet so cannot comment other than to ask if that's the same Steve Bruce whose team lost a two goal lead and had a player sent off?

Bruce complaing on five live that he hasn't enough experience, but if we need world class refs how are they supposed to get the experience in the first place

The Quote from Steve Bruce" I don't want to criticise referees but I think he has only been refing for 4 years and it looked like it."
A slap on the wrist and a don't do it again beckons for the former Man Utd player.
I bet he wasn't moaning when Sunderland got a penalty in 24th Minute.
Titus Bramble gets paid far more than a Premiership ref does and he makes more mistakes than a ref does.

Was watching Soccer Saturday, and the consensus was that the blame fell squarely upon the referee's assistant !

Just seen it. The pen looked dodgy, but the assistant was much closer and he clearly flagged for it.

Cattermole's red was spot on - the lad must have sh*t for brains given the way he went in for that second bookable offence.

Very good point. Cattermole's sending off was deserved as well.

I hope someone kindly informs him, idiot. Would he like it if someone called him 'past it' or a 'dinosaur' ...

Steve Bruce is a prize idiot and always blames referees when things don't go his way.

I think Bruce has a point about inexperience.....I mean he's only been in management a few years and has won f(*& all.

He's inherited the bitterness and big-headedness from Taggart without winning anything along the way to back it up. I can't stand the bloke.

His son was also a complete cocksmoker when he played here in a friendly a few years back.

Add to that list George Burley and a number of Sky Sports pundits. The lad was openly accused of "giving a penalty to even things up" at the weekend...much more of that talk, and we'll have a Scottish style revolt by our officials!
