Sounds like it was a decent performance by Alty against a decent Oxford team.

I don't think I have ever seen the forum so quiet during a game!

We've only lost two league games by more than one goal all season. I think that's excellent!

We have been very very solid - when was the last time we had such a good goal difference in the Conference?

Good performances from all.  I thought Young and Brown did well.  I also thought Carden made a big difference when he came on.  I just wish he'd started the game.

We tried hard, they were pretty solid...they probably deserved it overall but it was good to give them a game.

Worried about how tired we look though...it may be a good thing that the Stevenage game is Weds..

Think we played well didnt get over run by them , York look a better team to me , tirdness is showing but we have had a hard run in , cant see us getting  much from next two games , but we can party against Cambridge probably get three point from them

Odd game....can only remember one save by either keeper in the whole game.....they put 100 crosses in and we put in about 25...the only difference is we didn't pay quite so much to put in such poor quality crosses.

I think although oxford were clearly the better team we deserved to snatch a draw in the last 20 mins when we battered them without really having a clear cut chance.....one of those where the ball was always a split second or a millimetre in the wrong direction for a clear shot to go in.

A nice atmosphere with good "your going to be here for years...non league and you know you are" banter and great support for colin little and also a nice round of applause and and even a chant for Leiws Chalmers when he came on.

With safety assured the fact we ran a play off team so close and certainly never looked like getting a 5-0 drubbing it was actually as enjoyable as 1-0 defeat could be....and the Alty fans cheered their team louder at the final whistle than the oxford fans did for their team...

Apologies JD, my mum will write me a letter  ;)

Actually I took advantage of the great weather and took myself off for a good long walk (my other hobby) along the Grand Union Canal. There may have been a pub or two included along the way.

I knew you were good but I didn't realise you could walk on water!

Thought a certain Mr Saunders had hijacked Jezza's account for a minute  ;)
