Peyton is not good enough for this standard but I would keep him in the squad as back up. I would go

1) Coburn

2) Lane ( RB )
3) Doughty ( LB )
4) Young ( CB )
5) McGregor (CB)

6 ) Lawton ( CM )
7) Street ( CM )
8) Denham ( RM )
9) Elam ( LW ) maybe not fit enough but the only way to get fit part time is playing week in and week out

10) Little
11) Senior ( Just for his constant threat, pace and also I just feel he will tire defenders out more than anyone else, then bring the likes of Johnson on )

This team could be so exciting to watch I just hope they are given the go ahead to play and attack !!!

I have a feeling that Graham will play 5 in mid a lot of times away from home with Peyton more central, but I'd hate to see that. I think we all deserve attacking footy this season !!!

I would like to see Johnson start as his height and strength will be particularly important away from home.

7) Street ( CM )
8) Denham ( RM )
9) Peyton (LM)

10) Little - to play ahead of the midfield and behind Johnson until subs come on and we attack

11) Johnson

Elam for Peyton
Senior for Johnson
Someone for Someone

At home or away against lesser teams attack from the beginning. If we are containing them for the first 20-30 mins maybe push little up then before the subs. Then second half attack with pace of senior and Elam.

Once Elam is fit play him from the start but Barrow would be a good fitness game for him I think.

Have to say though I am little confused at Elam and Denham as they both play right wing, perhaps one will play left or even up front?

I'd say Senior for Little (either starting or that's the sub) as from what i've seen he seems to play well with Johnson and it will save Colin's (very able) old legs... And with Senior's preseason form he has to be in with a chance (esp. as Colin hasn't played as much)!

Elam played left wing on Saturday and Denham played up front.

With the forward talent we have we could do a Man U where the forwards are interchangeable accross the park. It could be very exciting!

If Peyton starts ahead of Elam I think that would be odd in the extreme. I can understand a more cautious approach away to Torquay but Woking is probably going to be one of our more winnable away games and we must put out our strongest attacking lineup.

Having only seen the Man Utd game so far, I looking forward to tomorrow night and see how we play. If everyone is match fit,I would have.

Coburn

Lane
McGregor
Young
Doughty

Denham
Lawton (C)
Street
Elam

Little
Johnson

Subs: Senior,Meechan,Peyton,Battersby,Ralph

Never thought I'd say this, but we have a chance of beating Woking with that side.

I agree, not disrespect to Warren but he should'nt be first choice with our current squad.

If the team we took last year had played to their potential (as poor as we were) we would have come home with the points, so I'm damn sure this team is capable of getting something.

That's potentially a new (and nice) problem we're going to have to deal with next season. Having to leave out decent players!  :)

Altrincham with selection problems ? Surely not. All I can say is I hope we f&^kin fly at Woking and t*at them cos they always do my head in.

Is that small coloured winger still with them ? Thought he was quite good at ML
