Might have to have more of a think on this but I reckon it might be Telford away many years back. Just wish I could remember more details.

That double save at Telford, closely followed by his second half wonder save against Nuneaton in the FA Cup in 2001.

There wasn't much he could have done about this one.  Take nothing away from the lad, he did well to find the gap, but the keeper was stranded.

How about Runcorn away on Boxing Day 1998? Stuart scored and saved a penalty.

the Telford game which Ecky mentions is probably the best game iv seen stuart play overshadowed by the Nuneaton game because at the time we were division lower than nuni Infact they may have been top of the conference a class act best iv seen in the years iv been going

I can still see that goal he scored vs Runcorn. Saves are almost too many to mention

The man was superb against Nuneaton, that is the best i have seen him play, but there are so many to pick from.  My favourite performance would be his first after his return from Leigh...

100% ALTY LEGEND.

When he came on outfield against emley in the 7-1 win at moss lane, best performance for the club.

The day he returned from Leigh has to be one of the most unbelievable things I've seen. 'No, Stu is back? You're having a laugh!!'

There was one really silly save a few years ago in the BSP, wasn't Rushden, but can't remember who. It was physically impossible to save it, but he somehow did. Everyone just looked at each other questioning what had just happened!!

A penalty he'd given away - just so he could save it :)

We also went top that day.

has to be the double at Telford for me...... but Rushden was amazing as was Cambridge. Nuneaton must hate us too due to the fa cup game and the play offs.... proper alty legend

Stu's name is still probably said through gritted teeth at Cambridge Utd. That display to stop their promotion push a few years back was top class. Setanta kept showing highlights and it was save after save by Stu.

Class.
