I like that "amazing adventure" then sack the manager by phone.
Must be proud or that.

Hence why i said 'complete' corbett  ;) It comes from practice  ;D

Hughesy.... your bold statement on the conference forum that Alty would finish higher than Cambridge this season has got me thinking... fancy putting your money where your mouth is?

£100 to the fan of the team who finishes higher?

Being a man of suitable means I couldnt possibly take your money,I think a donation to charity would be far more fitting.

Charity? Pah! I only bet for personal gain. The offer is there should you fancy it. I'd be happy to shake on it when our clubs meet for the first time this season  :)

Taking a dislike to a smaller club? Not the case. I have a strong admiration for Northwich Victoria and everyone connected to their club after what they've been through the last few years. They performed a wonderful, miraculous escape last season without the need of bad mouthing other clubs for whatever reason. They didn't moan about budgets, finances or make lazy accusations about the so called 'big' clubs. That's integrity.

I didn't know you'd won this league twice, to be honest i'd never heard of you before we came down here* etc etc etc etc.....

*Am i living upto your 'big club supporter' stereotype yet? 'Cause i have more!

They didn't moan about finances because they were overspending themselves!!! Do you not realise, that if we had spent the amount of money they did we would have also stayed up "on merit". There's a fine line between integrity and not saying anything because you know your club is guilty aswell.

Weymouth away first game would be so, so sweet.

Worse for me is that I'm up in Scotland for a wedding the weekend of August Bank Holiday (Ayr) and dependent on a lift back. Chances of getting back to Moss Lane to see it at it's fullest for years agianst Wrexham not looking great.  >:(

CUFC seem to have upset a few people with their appointments............Southport are unhappy to lose their manager, claiming that CU had no permission to speak to Gary Brabin with asking them first..............and now Wrexham have contacted the FA over an allegation that one of their contracted players has joined CU as assistant manager.
