Another massive fixture tomorrow
« on: February 20, 2012, 10:15:41 AM »

Let's hope we can get another good crowd like Saturday, they will need us behind them for this last 1/4 of the season and if we can see 700/800 turning out in midweek it will really spur them on.This week is a pivotal week in the season with Nuneaton v Halifax taking place tomorrow and the return fixture being Saturday. If we can get another 3 points tomorrow we will make gains on one or both of those sides.Plus with stalybridge and Gainsborough having tough midweek treks to Blyth and Workington, we could really make up some ground with a win tomorrow. It's about being in the top 5 on April 28th, so let's do all we can as supporters to make that happen

A win put us on 48 points which means if the Bridge lose, we'll be a point behind them (despite them having game in hand over us)

If Halifax win, and we win, then we leap frog gainsbourgh into 6th

2 wins in the next 5 days could see us in the play off spots

Indeed.  Lets get right behind them from the off.

We always have a better atmosphere under the lights but lets make sure its decent.  I know its not always easy to get estatic about the visit of some of these clubs but we've got a part to play as Hughesy says.

Biggest thing I miss about this season is lack of away fans and therefore atmosphere. You can see the reaction this season, a 5th goal against Harrogate (who?) is nowhere near As great As a goal vs York

We've had some cracking atmosphere over the last year during mid week games, so I think it's time we had another

No excuses - lets get 3 points (and hopefully a clean sheet) - the points are vital tonight As if results go our way we can put ourselves right back into the mix

We were in a good position before Corby... And a draw knocked us back, since then we've crawled back to a decent position, 3 points are needed to keep the pressure up

Points possible

Hyde 29 61
Halifax 29 53/54/56
Guiseley 26 52
Nuneaton 29 50/51/53
Staly 28 49/50/52
Alty 29 45/46/48
Gainsborough 29 48

If results go Altys way tonight, this is potentially what the table could look like

Hyde 61
Halifax 53
Nuneaton 53
Guisley 52  (p26)
Staly 49    (p28)
-----------------
Alty 48

5 points off 2nd/3rd and 4 off 3rd, which is easily cut down in this league
