United are right on our doorsteps! If anything the premier league excuse should be used by us, not them! Absolute morons. The one thing I would be able to accept is that Witton have a bit of a following too, whereas Trafford for example don't really have the same support. Either way though, they just have to accept that their support is minimal, crowds are going to get smaller if they continue with their current run of results and they'll be wound-up when the current financial arrangement goes tits up.

I'm intrigued by the news that Connett is prepared to sell the entire site to the consortium.....and the words to the effect that they can then 'make use of the land' and then get the stadium back in the hands of the football club.
It appears the attraction of NVFC is always the land with the football club an afterthought that drains a bit of the money.
Will it all go according to plan without the football club being used as the financial sacrificial scapegoat?
Well let's hope so.
But how many saviours can they attract to pour in money when they are once again just a football club and will they be back to square one facing having to sell the stadium to survive?
