Mckenna and the squad...what!?

As I'm sure you all have I've been hearing the rumors everywhere for the past few weeks that Mckenna and the rest of the team are set to leave for Crawley after the recent upturn in form, for the sum of 8 million, leaving us with only the supporters team to play our first team matches player managed by Graham Heathcote...Wasn't sure whether to believe it but I've just seen this news article?

Are you sure ? An unimpeachable source close to the Club told me this morning that the ground is to be sold for housing, and that we are merging with Northwich Victoria next season. The team will be known as Cheshire Victoria, and will play in green and red stripes.

what was that april fool a year or so ago that got geoff hot under the collar?...were we merging with northwich or something..

I think the prank was that we were merging with Runcorn and being called Altrincham and Runcorn. That was in 2005.
