Altrincham FC First Team / Christmas wish list - player wise
« on: November 27, 2007, 10:16:20 PM »
Micheal howard - morecambe - left back
Matt Doughty - halifax- left back
Chris Williams - Northwich - Midfield
Aaron Burns - FCUM - Centre Forward

We should have more to offer to burns than sh*t like droyslden and northwich, his work rate might not be up to much, but I think he is worth another go, as people have said in another thread, a left back is an absolute must this time around.Hoawrd was displaced by danny adams at morecambe, not sure what the script is with him now.

If we could get the above players (one of the two left backs obviously), and a young nippy right winger that can cross a ball, we would have a solid midtable outfit, in my humble opinion.

Altrincham FC First Team / Lets not get too daft
« on: October 28, 2007, 09:02:40 PM »
Millwall only had 850 at leeds yesterday for what is a "big" game in that league, so why would they bring an extra 500 here in the 1st round of the cup? They'll have a decent following, but lets not worry about them needing lots of tickets for the home end, its a long way to travel, and we arent the biggest draw in the world, and they havent won away from home yet.

Altrincham FC First Team / Any news from the club about whats happening?
« on: October 28, 2007, 03:48:25 PM »
I hear there was supposed to be a meeting this afternoon to discuss the milwall game

2325
With regards to the Milwall game.
The turnstiles on the corner of moss lane and golf road should be for access to the Golf Road end, the current turnstiles at the bottom of golf road should be for access to the popular side, and you should have to stay in the area you go into, no moving around at half time. You pay in a certain stand, you stay in that stand,it would save a lot of messing around.
