This Sunday the Ladies are scheduled to meet Ellesmere Port Town in the Quarter Final of the Cheshire FA Ladies Cup.

The game is at Mersey Valley with Kick Off at 1.00pm.

Any supporters wishing to come and cheer the Ladies on in what will be a tough fixture will be most welcome. The Bar will be open and food available

Unfortunately, despite an extremely impressive performance today the Ladies bowed out of the County Cup at the Quarter Final Stage, losing 3-2 to Ellesmere Port Town.

'Port', last year's beaten finalists in the competition, are currently top of our league and beat us convincingly earlier in the season but for long periods today Alty were the better team, an opinion voiced by a number of neutral observers.

It was an excellent game to watch with good football played in a hard but fair manner, both teams respecting each other and the game.

I make no apologies for repeating my invitation to come down and watch sometime.
