If he can sort his passing out he will be a good player.  I know that sounds odd but he started with it going astray then it improved a lot in the New year, then seemed to slip back again.

His fitness and commitment cannot be questioned though and if Sinnott wants him again then that's good enough for me.

If he stays fit he should prove a good enforcer & a great help to the likes of Boshell & Moult.

I'm pleased about this too, especially as i was worried he'd leave. Welcome back Carl.

I'm personally happy with this. There seemed to be an anti-Rodgers bandwagon rolling a the end of the season for some reason and I'm not sure it was entirely justified. Yes his passing isn't the best but if you're playing him with someone like Boshell or Moult then short passes are often enough. He has had some absolutely outstanding games for us and his movement and awareness for Nicky Clees goal against Halifax was phenomenal.

Good signing.

I just think it's great that we're going to have some continuity in the squad and some tweaks where possible, rather than having to make wholesale changes. It should really help us to hit the ground running come August.

I agree his passing sometimes goes astray, but look how Simon Richman has improved his game since his first season , its good were keeping the nucleus of last seasons squad , just need couple of defender IMO .

In January, I'd have let him go......but his back end performances make him a "must keep".

his fitness can be questioned, spent the whole season with niggling injuries

poor signing - indicates play offs again

Niggling injuries (picked up from games) have nothing to do with a players fitness.

It isn't a poor signing that's harsh granted I myself would've probably let go but not poor
